Deerfield Associates has been retained by Yale University to conduct a global search for a Regional Director of Major Gifts – New York Metro Region.

This position will play a high-profile role within the Major Gifts team in the For Humanity campaign. Reporting to the Director of Major Gifts and working in close coordination with partners across Yale University, the Regional Director – NYC Metro directs a staff of professional fundraisers responsible for soliciting prospective donors to Yale University in the NYC Metro area for gifts of $250,000 to $10 million+ and plays a central role collaborating with University officials, school leadership, faculty, development senior leadership, campaign volunteers, and colleagues throughout Alumni Affairs and Development. The Regional Director also carries a portfolio of 50+ individual prospects in the NYC Metro area and is positioned as a key driver of fundraising strategy in the region. Operating in a comprehensive, university-wide campaign environment, the Regional Director guides the team in achieving annual fundraising goals and helps to ensure the success of the campaign in a multitude of ways.
